Resolved Question: Cocaine poem-what do you think?

I’m not a user but I was asked to do a poem for one of my nursing classes based on a patient Ive had recently. My last patient, a cocaine addict, gave me a lot of insight into his addiction so I though he’d be perfect. Let me know what you think! Thanks! 😀

I’m married to the women of white.
A ghostly kiss sends chills down my spine,
quickens me heart,
and burns holes in my soul.
She takes my hand and my pain fades.
Always on my mind,
she’ll never let me go.
Even my shadow has left my side
and I yet our destructive romance persists.

They say there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel,
So I continue to walk.
But in this pit,
walking just gets me deeper;
deeper in love with her;
my love,
my life,
from this day forward,
until death do us part.
