Hallucinogens such as lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), phencyclidine (PCP), ketamine, and methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA or Ecstasy) are man-made chemicals, while others, such as psilocybin mushrooms and the herb Salvia divinorum, occur in nature.
